About Brandi Marcene — Copywriter, SEO Strategist, and the Voice Behind Copy That Converts
12 Years. Hundreds of Clients. One Commitment: Copy That Does More Than Sound Good.
Most businesses know they should be posting on social media. Very few of them are doing it in a way that builds a real audience, establishes genuine authority, or moves a follower toward a business inquiry.
If your blog has been running for months without driving measurable traffic or leads, the writing is the problem. Let’s fix it.

I started writing professionally because I understood something early: most businesses have a genuinely valuable product or service that the world will never find out about because the words describing it are not doing them justice.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve worked with clients across five continents — from solo consultants just launching their first website to established brands refreshing their digital presence after years of underperforming content. What every one of those clients had in common was a business worth talking about and copy that wasn’t telling the story well enough.
My work sits at the intersection of strategic thinking and genuine craft. I don’t produce content in bulk and I don’t use templates. Every project I take on gets original research, a clear strategic framework, and writing that sounds like it came from a person who understands your business — because it did.
I’m based in Snellville, Georgia, and I work with clients worldwide. Every project is handled personally, communicated clearly, and delivered on time.

12+ Years of Professional Copywriting — A Career Built on Results
I began my writing career over a decade ago with a simple conviction: that clear, purposeful writing was one of the most undervalued assets in business. Twelve years, hundreds of projects, and thousands of published pieces later, that conviction has only deepened.
How My Career Developed
My early work was in content writing — producing articles, blog posts, and website copy for businesses navigating the shift to digital-first marketing. I developed a strong editorial instinct and a deep understanding of how audiences actually read online: non-linearly, skeptically, and with very short patience for anything that doesn’t immediately deliver value.
Over time, my focus sharpened toward copywriting — the more commercially demanding discipline where every word has a conversion role to play. I studied the craft seriously: reading extensively in the tradition of direct response, absorbing the principles of persuasion psychology, and applying and testing what I learned across projects in multiple industries and formats.
I expanded my practice into SEO content strategy when I recognised that the most brilliantly written copy in the world underperforms when it’s invisible. Understanding keyword intent, content architecture, search signals, and the Google E-E-A-T framework became as much a part of my professional expertise as the writing itself.
Today, I offer a complete range of copywriting and content strategy services — all rooted in the same foundation: strategic thinking applied to precise, persuasive writing.

Industries & Audiences I've Written For
Effective copywriting requires more than writing skill — it requires understanding the specific language, concerns, and buyer psychology of each industry. Over 12 years, I’ve developed genuine familiarity with a broad range of sectors
My Writing Philosophy — Strategy, Honesty, and Respect for the Reader
Every piece of copy I write starts with a question that most writers don’t ask early enough: what specific action does this need to produce, and in what kind of person?
Copywriting That Drives Action
I love writing — but I don't confuse writing with copywriting. Copy exists to move people: from unaware to interested, from interested to convinced, from convinced to acting. Every word I write is judged against that standard. If it doesn't serve the argument, it doesn't make the draft.
Clarity Over Cleverness, Every Time
Clever copy that confuses the reader has failed. Clear copy that is slightly less sophisticated but lands the message precisely has done its job. I write for comprehension first. Flair is welcome when it supports understanding — never when it competes with it.
Research Is Not Optional
I don't write from assumption. Before producing copy for clients, I study their audience: what they believe, what they fear, what objections they hold, and what language they use to describe problems. This research makes copy feel written for the reader — because it was.
Honesty in Copy Builds the Businesses That Last
I don't write misleading claims, inflated promises, or manipulative urgency. Honest, specific copy outperforms sensational copy long term. Trust through honest communication compounds over time. Successful businesses say what they mean and deliver exactly that.
Reader Owes Nothing — Earn Attention
Your reader arrived at your page with a problem to solve and limited patience. They owe you nothing. The copy earns their attention — or it doesn't. This is the humility I bring to every project: your reader is not obligated to keep reading. My job is to make them genuinely want to continue reading.
Good Copy Respects the Reader’s Time
Most people don't read every word on a page — they scan for relevance and proof you're worth attention. That's why I focus on structure as much as writing itself. Strong headlines, clean flow, and purposeful messaging help readers understand quickly without feeling overwhelmed.

Frequently Asked Questions About Working With Brandi
Q1: Do you only work with large businesses, or do you also work with small businesses and solopreneurs?
I work with clients across the full spectrum — from individual consultants and solopreneurs launching their first website to established agencies and mid-size companies refreshing their content strategy. The common thread is not business size; it’s that the client takes their content seriously and wants copy that performs, not copy that just exists. If you are a solo operator with a clear sense of your audience and a genuine service to offer, I am likely a good fit. My questionnaire process is designed to extract the same quality of strategic brief from a solopreneur as from a corporate marketing team.
Q2: How do you approach a new project if you are not familiar with my industry?
The same way I’d approach any project: research first, writing second. My pre-project questionnaire asks detailed questions about your audience, your competitors, your positioning, and the language your customers use to describe their own problems. I also conduct independent research into your market, your top competitors’ content, and the specific vocabulary of your industry. In 12 years, I’ve written for industries ranging from life sciences to real estate to SaaS — and in every case, the brief and research process produced copy that read as if it came from an industry insider. I’ll tell you honestly upfront if a project is outside my range. That has almost never been the case.
Q3: What makes you different from other freelance copywriters or content writing services?
Three things that I consistently hear from clients who have worked with other writers before. First: I write strategically — every piece of copy starts with a commercial goal and is structured to achieve it, not just to fill a word count. Second: I write it myself — every word is researched, written, and edited by me personally. No AI generation, no subcontracting, no content farm. Third: I communicate clearly and deliver reliably — clients who have been burned by missed deadlines or unresponsive freelancers notice the difference immediately. The combination of strategic thinking, personal craft, and professional reliability is what keeps clients coming back for second, third, and fourth projects.
Q4: Do you offer ongoing retainer arrangements, or only one-off projects?
Both. Many of my clients begin with a single project — a website rewrite, a landing page, an eBook — and transition to an ongoing retainer once they see the results. Retainer arrangements typically cover a defined monthly output: a set number of blog posts, a content strategy review, or a combination of ongoing service page work and content production. Retainers are capped and booked in advance, so availability is limited. If you are interested in an ongoing arrangement, mention it in your initial enquiry and I will let you know current availability.
